The Guy Lacombe Institute’s main mandate is to provide resources to the francophone community of Alberta. It is their aim to develop a sense of community within Alberta and the capital region’s francophone population.

Used primarily as a book and video resource centre, The Lacombe Institute, and Saint-Thomas, are enhancing their partnership to include services such as pre- and post-natal training, "Health for Two", parenting skills and Parent Link, a comprehensive family resource program designed to provide prevention and support services to families with children.
